The market for NETA Level III/IV certified professionals has never been tighter — and we've built a compensation and benefits package that reflects that reality.What You'll DoPerform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems and equipment up to 500kVConduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysisTest and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based)Perform insulation resistance, power factor, and contact resistance testing on transformers, switchgear, cables, and circuit breakersInterpret and analyze test results; author comprehensive engineering reports with findings and recommendationsTroubleshoot complex electrical system failures under time-critical conditionsMentor and train Level I/II technicians in the fieldServe as technical lead on multi-discipline project teamsMaintain compliance with NETA MTS/ATS standards, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety requirementsWhat you'll bring?Required:NETA Level III or Level IV Certification (current and in good standing)7+ years of hands-on electrical testing experience in medium/high voltage environmentsExpert knowledge of NETA MTS and ATS standardsProficiency with test equipment: Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, SKF, and equivalentStrong understanding of protective relay schemes and coordinationAbility to read and interpret one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDsValid driver's license with clean driving recordWillingness to travel regionally (up to 75%)Preferred:NETA Level IV CertificationNICET CertificationExperience with SF6 breaker maintenancePower systems engineering or related degreePrior leadership/supervisory experience on testing projectsExperience in data center, utility, or industrial critical power environmentsThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
