This position will be responsible for deployments and implementations of Business Technology automation systems as well as upgrades in the field for both new facilities and existing facilities. Business Technology experience is not required! We're on the search for someone who is ambitious, self-starter, likes to travel, enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. This person will travel among different business units and explore issues with technology.Key Responsibilities:Support day to day business operations in the fieldProject support as needed for innovation and improvementsRelationship with vendors and service providers to ensure on-time delivery of services and continuous improvementResponsible for second level handheld and application troubleshooting including on-site support when warrantedWork with the Application Support teams to implement workarounds for reported issues affecting the businessHelp identify training needs in the business on all supported applications and systemsAs necessary, provide on-site training when it has been evaluated to be warranted and cost justifiedRecommends procedures and controls for problem prevention in the business operations.Resource for all deployments and implementations in the field for new business technology automation technology, applications, and systemsProvide second level on call after hour supportPerform other duties as assignedBehavioral Competencies:Strong oral and written communications, interpersonal relations, and organizational skillsDemonstrate working knowledge of the business and understanding of the applications usedAbility to display tact and diplomacy when assisting customers, coworkers, consultants and vendorsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent and conflicting priorities and deadlinesBackground in the use and/or support of applications such as sales and distribution systems, preferred80% travel requiredLocation of job is flexible.Education and Work History:Bachelor's degree in the area of Business or related, preferred.
