Senior Finance Analyst (US)- Commercial Banking FP&A

Work Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America. Hours: 40. Pay: $72,280 - $108,160 USD. Job Summary The Senior Finance Analyst conducts a range of line‑of‑business financial analysis and provides finance support within a Business Partner Finance area. The role requires subject‑matter expertise, advanced financial analysis skills, and the ability to influence senior decision‑makers. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular, ongoing analysis, evaluation, and review of business performance against established benchmarks and financial targets. Provide advice and guidance to Finance Management and business partners on finance accounting, reporting, and operational processes. Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models to illustrate business trends and uncover opportunities. Coordinate and consolidate financial information requests among business finance teams, stakeholders, external parties, regulators, and auditors. Identify variances and contribute to the analysis, due diligence and implementation of initiatives such as acquisitions or re‑structures. Act as a key resource on specialized finance procedures and issues (tax, reconciliations, controls, etc.). Provide process and subject‑matter advice at senior levels and build stakeholder alignment on projects. Work independently as the senior technical lead and guide others within the speciality area. Support continuous process and performance improvements and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Maintain confidentiality and manage all communications with discretion. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical role. Accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. In‑depth knowledge of own specialty area and working knowledge of related financial domains. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence senior leadership and build consensus across functional boundaries. Experience developing dashboards and financial reporting tools. Physical Requirements The role involves continuous sedentary work, use of standard office equipment, and occasional light lifting (under 25 lbs.).
