About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Oncology PCU Duration: 36 Hours Only Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required, must have oncology experience License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; Chemotherapy certification preferred Must-Have: Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5 years of experience Description: We are seeking a skilled registered nurse with a background in surgical oncology to join our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in oncology nursing. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required for this position. A chemotherapy certification is preferred but not mandatory. The unit has a capacity of 36 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1. Familiarity with the Epic electronic medical record system is preferred. Floating to other units may be required, and travelers will be the first to float as needed. The culture is very important, and travelers are expected to function as core staff. All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date. No exceptions will be made for pending documents.
