About the Role

Speco Technologies is looking for a motivated, personable, and career-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Amityville, NY.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be assigned a sales territory and work in partnership with a Regional Sales Manager to support and drive growth within that region. While you will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager, this is an independent role with its own responsibilities, customer relationships, outreach initiatives, and account-development goals.

The Inside Sales Representative serves as an additional sales resource within the territory — proactively developing accounts, identifying opportunities, conducting customer outreach, coordinating product demonstrations and trainings, and maintaining consistent follow-up with customers.

This is not an administrative or sales-assistant position. You will have ownership of your day-to-day activity and customer relationships while collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager on territory priorities and growth opportunities.

This is a salaried position and does not include commission.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in B2B sales and account development within the security technology industry. Previous security industry experience is not required; training will be provided on Speco's products, systems, customers, and sales processes.

What You'll Do

• Partner with an assigned Regional Sales Manager to support and grow an assigned territory
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, campaigns, and customer follow-up
• Develop relationships with new and existing dealers, integrators, distributors, and other business customers
• Identify new business opportunities and help move existing opportunities forward
• Manage assigned accounts, leads, and follow-up activities
• Schedule and participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and trainings
• Identify customer needs and connect customers with appropriate Speco products and resources
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on territory priorities, target accounts, and growth initiatives
• Follow up on quotes, demonstrations, projects, campaigns, and other opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer activity and next steps in HubSpot CRM
• Participate in sales campaigns, new product initiatives, and targeted account-development efforts
• Develop a strong understanding of Speco's product portfolio and the security technology industry
• Work toward individual activity and department goals

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, account management, business development, or other customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations with customers by phone and email
• Ability to build professional relationships and communicate confidently with customers
• Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and follow-ups
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a sales team
• Comfortable working toward activity and performance goals
• Willingness to learn technical products and solutions
• Experience with HubSpot or another CRM is a plus, but not required
• Experience in security, technology, distribution, or B2B sales is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$60,000 annual salary
• This role begins as a salary-only position. As Speco’s Inside Sales program expands, we anticipate introducing additional incentive-based compensation tied to territory growth and account development.
