Admin Security Specialist

Position Summary Admin Security to enforce access and property control policies in all lobbies at Arlington, Virginia. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm. Pay Transparency/Compensation $32.73/Hr. Responsibilities Maintain annual refresher briefing records. Review and approve pre/post foreign travel reports. Check visitors in and issue appropriate visitor badges. Submit new hire packets for clearances and investigations. Maintain SCARs database and DISS records. Maintain location and cost code metrics. Complete STEPP training for all security topics. Maintain Security Binders. Conduct bag inspections for the facility in accordance with NISPOM regulations. Patrol the suite including SCIF to ensure secured. Coordinating meeting. Maintain safety equipment. Manage the alarm system. Answer front desk calls. Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs. Qualifications Must be U.S. citizen. Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Must have a current Top-Secret clearance or higher and be eligible for a TS/SSBI security clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be able to pass a C.I. polygraph. Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check. Successfully pass an employment physical. Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms. Write and speak clearly and effectively in English. Be fully computer literate with computer hardware. Communicate effectively. Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses. 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience. Experience in personnel security. Experience with JPAS or DISS. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
