Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Intervention Specialist supporting students across elementary and middle school settings. With openings for both highly skilled and compassionate educators, this contract role offers the chance to make a lasting impact in various specialized environments.
Positions are available for a range of classroom settings, including Autism, Multiple Disabilities (MD), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Cross-Categorical, and Inclusion classrooms. Assignments offer consistent 40-hour-per-week schedules for the 2026-2027 academic year, ensuring your professional focus is fully supported.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Intervention Specialist license
- Experience supporting students with Autism, Multiple Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, or cross-categorical needs
- A genuine commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Strong collaboration skills for working with diverse teams of educators, therapists, and families
- Adaptability to individualized education plans and differentiated instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and outside specialists to ensure each student’s growth and progress
- Provide differentiated, evidence-based interventions and support strategies
- Foster a safe and positive classroom environment that empowers every learner
