Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Intervention Specialist in a forward-thinking learning environment. With eight openings available, this role offers the chance to impact students across both elementary and middle school levels from August 6, 2026, through May 28, 2027, for 40 hours each week.

You’ll be matched with one of several classrooms to suit your expertise, including Autism, Multiple Disabilities (MD) units, Emotional Disturbance (ED), Cross-Categorical, or Inclusion settings. Each classroom provides a unique space to help students succeed academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Intervention Specialist license required for Ohio
• Experience working with children in special education settings preferred
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, students, and families
• Strong organizational skills and a passion for differentiated instruction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student’s strengths and needs
• Deliver engaging, tailored instruction to meet diverse learning goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Track student progress, communicate regularly with families, and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
