Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, valid Intervention Specialist license required
• Experience or motivation to work with elementary and/or middle school students
• Ability to adapt to a variety of classroom settings (Autism, Multiple Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, Inclusion, Cross-Categorical)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for fostering student success in specialized learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and provide support to students with diverse special needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster inclusive classroom environments and adaptive strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings on student progress
