Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching licensure (presented upon application)
- Experience with MD (Multiple Disabilities) and/or ED (Emotional Disabilities) classrooms preferred
- Skills in BIPS, social-emotional instruction, and crisis intervention helpful
- Adaptability and commitment to inclusive education
- Effective collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload in either an MD (9-12 students) or ED (10-15 students) classroom
- Deliver specialized instruction for students with a diverse range of learning needs (autism, non-verbal, physical impairments, social-emotional challenges, etc.)
- Implement and monitor behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment within one school building
