About the PositionAs an Assembler I, you’ll support the assembly of electrical equipment while learning Power Design’s safety, quality, and workmanship standards. This entry-level role is ideal for someone beginning their career in manufacturing or electrical assembly and looking to grow technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.Position ResponsibilitiesAssemble basic electrical components following drawings, schematics, and work instructionsSafely use hand and power toolsFollow all safety, quality, and workmanship standardsPerform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specificationsSupport senior assemblers and production team members as assignedAccurately document work by completing production and quality formsMaintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipmentDemonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination when working with small componentsIdentify color-coded wiring where requiredHere’s What We’re Looking ForBasic mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical assemblyAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsWillingness to learn new skills and accept feedbackAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs0–1 years of manufacturing, assembly, or trade-related experienceSome of Our Benefits…Power Design offers national health and dental plans, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage.
