Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NCCPA required


Must-Have:
- Board Certified NCCPA
- EPIC Experience preferred
- Able to perform all required duties
- Able to perform all required procedures
- Must be able to cover both sites
- Provider must be local


Description:
We are looking to add a Physician Assistant to our Cardiothoracic Surgery team.
This position is for an inpatient setting only.
The schedule consists of varied 8-hour days, with potential call and 24-hour shifts.
The average number of patients seen per day is approximately 10.
The work will include conducting pre-operative physical exams and diagnosing illnesses.
You will be responsible for treating illnesses, ordering tests, and interpreting test results.
Assisting in surgery, writing prescriptions, and coordinating care are key components of this role.
You will also be involved in rounding and the placement of central venous and dialysis catheters.
Additionally, the role includes the placement of arterial lines and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
Note that balloon pumps will not be part of the procedures required.
