Agronomy Operations Manager

Job Description A large farming operation is looking to hire an Agronomy Operations Manager . This position offers a robust compensation package including a base salary, bonuses, healthcare and many other bells and whistles! If you are looking to advance your leadership in ag, this is for you!!

Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise and coordinate the application operations necessary for crop production
- Help manage the scheduling of fertilizer applications, irrigation, and chemical applications
- Consistently communicate about farm activities, challenges, and management decisions
- Support innovation of farm practices, including implementing drone technology
- Ensure proper safety procedures for personnel and equipment are being followed at all times
- Be ready and willing to operate any and all equipment necessary for farming operations
- Experience in the agriculture industry - knowledge of crop production preferred
- Part 107 remote license preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Good leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
- Able to lift 50 pounds
