Hello, my name is Dr. Josh Straub, and I’m looking for compassionate and dedicated male caregivers to join me in my journey. As a 36-year-old professional with a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a passion for the video gaming industry, I value the support that caregivers provide.
I require 24/7 care due to my health needs, and I’m eager to find individuals who are not only skilled but also share a genuine interest in making a positive impact in my life. I run a successful consulting business for the Video Gaming industry, I am also the founder of and Editor in Chief for If you enjoy working with someone who appreciates creativity and strategy, you might be a great fit!
What I Offer:
Competitive Pay: Starting at $20 an hour, with potential increases up to $24 an hour.
Flexible Shifts: Evening and weekend shifts are available to accommodate your schedule.
Growth Opportunities: Join me in an exciting field and develop your professional skills. Opportunities could include working on unreleased AAA and AA games, meeting with game developers and executives in the games industry, and helping me develop a strategy for my non-profit.
Travel Opportunities: If your skill sets match, I can offer multiple paid travel opportunities connected with my professional and philanthropical work.
What I Need from You:
Essential Skills: Proficiency in English, basic office skills, and the ability to perform daily living tasks, such as toileting care, bathing, meal preparation, and light house cleaning.
Requirements: A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a tobacco-free, scent-free environment are essential. Not allergies to cats.
Personality Traits: Adaptability, teachability, and the ability to work independently are crucial for this role.
Work Environment:
A relaxed office/home setting with one cat.
