Staffing CoordinatorGolden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 5 Star CMS, 280-bed skilled nursing facility located at 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401. We are seeking compassionate, professional, family-oriented candidates to join our team!We are seeking a reliable and organized Staffing Coordinator to manage daily staffing needs for our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, ensuring adequate staffing coverage for all shifts, and maintaining compliance with staffing regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and communicates effectively with nursing staff and leadership.Full-TimePay: $25-$30 Hr.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and maintain daily and weekly staffing schedules for nursing and support staffEnsure adequate coverage for all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidaysMonitor staffing levels to meet state and facility staffing requirementsCommunicate with nursing staff to fill open shifts and arrange replacements for call-outsManage shift swaps, schedule adjustments, and overtime in accordance with facility policiesMaintain accurate staffing records and attendance trackingWork closely with the Director of Nursing and unit managers to anticipate staffing needsUtilize scheduling software and timekeeping systems to update and track staffing informationAssist with onboarding schedules for new hires and orientation shiftsMaintain a positive and professional relationship with staff while supporting operational needsRespond to staffing emergencies and coordinate last-minute coverage when neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferredPrevious staffing, scheduling, or administrative experience in healthcare preferredExperience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting strongly preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and handle staffing challenges effectivelyProficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and timekeeping systemsKnowledge of healthcare staffing ratios and regulations is a plusScheduleFull-time positionMay require occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call coverage to address staffing needs
