Senior Accounting Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support general ledger activities with a focus on payroll related entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and review account balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month end close by maintaining schedules and supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights related to payroll and expense activity.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting with exposure to payroll processes.
• A strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation procedures.
• Previous experience working with accounting systems and payroll related data.
• Ability to manage deadlines and support multiple accounting functions.
