Database Engineer

The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting a critical database environment while gaining hands-on experience with a PostgreSQL migration and ERP transformation initiative . You’ll work closely with senior leadership and technical stakeholders to maintain current systems while helping shape the future state of the company’s data infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Support and maintain existing SQL Server databases
- Assist with database design, performance tuning, and optimization
- Partner with internal teams on application and data needs
- Contribute to a greenfield PostgreSQL migration effort
- Support a long-term initiative to consolidate and rebuild internal ERP systems
- Collaborate with developers working in C# and React
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience working with SQL / relational databases
- Strong foundational knowledge of database structures and queries
- Interest in learning or working with PostgreSQL
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a small, hands-on team
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in an evolving environment
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to PostgreSQL
- Experience supporting internal systems or ERP environments
- Familiarity with modern development environments
