Mindful Body & Recovery Program, Perris, CA
Riverside University Health System's (RUHS), Behavioral Health (BH) department's, Mindful Body and Recovery program is an intensive outpatient program for eating disorders (ED-IOP). The goal of the program is to help consumers with eating disorders gain control of their condition so they can step down to lower level of care. This position will work with youth between the ages of 12 to 25 years old. The TAY population will be provided services at the TAY Stepping Stones location in Riverside. The Senior Clinical Therapist will provide clinical supervision to clinical staff, assist the supervisor with the daily operations of the IOP program, carry a small caseload, assist clinical staff in facilitating groups, provide assistance during crisis situations and when appropriate, and provide some presentations out in the community/stakeholders about the Mindful Body and Recovery Program. This position will work a 9/80 schedule and require driving in the community, school settings, and member's homes to observe/assist staff in the field on days when IOP services is not provided on clinic site.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Provide extensive clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians, within the scope of licensure.
• Monitor fidelity and provide clinical supervision and coaching for evidence based treatment models.
• Develop mental health related training curriculum and conduct training for clinical therapists and other departmental staff.
• Conduct clinical and quality improvement chart audits.
• Coordinate clinical decisions in response to operational demands.
• Conduct clinical discussions regarding complex or difficult cases.

Experience: Two years of post-license professional experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting providing direct client services which must have included: client assessment and evaluation, development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans, providing psychotherapy or mental health counseling, and providing indirect services involving information, consultation, and educational services to staff and community. AND License: Possession of a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Knowledge of: Psychological aspects of physical and emotional disturbances and mental deficiencies; characteristics of emotional and mental disorders including their effect on the individual in the community; mental health local community resources and community support systems; principles of clinical interviewing and methods of recording consumer information; individual licensing law and the scope of professional practice governed by the same; laws, rules, and regulations of publicly operated health and welfare programs; principles and techniques for making psychosocial assessments. Employees contribute to State Disability Insurance (SDI), which provides wage replacement benefits for individuals who are unable to work due to non-work-related illness, injury, or pregnancy. SDI also includes Paid Family Leave Benefits. The wage replacement rate is determined by current law, offering 60-70% of the wages earned during the SDI eligibility period.
Additionally, employees receive employer-paid Long-Term Disability Benefits, which cover 66.67% of pre-disability earnings, up to a maximum of $10,000 per month. There is a 365-day waiting period before these benefits become active. Employees may coordinate these benefits with other available leave balances to receive up to 100% of their regular pay. VACATION ACCRUAL (Bi-Weekly Accrual): 0 < 3 year = 80 Hours (10 Days) 4 < 9 years = 120 Hours (15 Days) 10 or more years = 160 Hours (20 Days) Maximum Vacation leave accumulation is 480 hours. SICK LEAVE: Four (4) hours Sick Leave accrual per pay period with unlimited accrual. HOLIDAYS: Normally 12 paid holidays per year. BEREAVEMENT LEAVE: Allowed 5 days (3 days are County paid; 2 additional days can be taken from accrued Sick Leave balance). BASIC LIFE INSURANCE: Equal to one times annual base salary not to exceed $50,000 of term life coverage. Premiums are paid by the County. Additional Supplemental Life plan is available for employee purchase. DISABILITY:
Employees contribute to State Disability Insurance (SDI), which provides wage replacement benefits for individuals who are unable to work due to non-work-related illness, injury, or pregnancy. SDI also includes Paid Family Leave Benefits. The wage replacement rate is determined by current law, offering 60-70% of the wages earned during the SDI eligibility period.
Additionally, employees receive employer-paid Long-Term Disability Benefits, which cover 66.67% of pre-disability earnings, up to a maximum of $10,000 per month. There is a 365-day waiting period before these benefits become active. Employees may coordinate these benefits with other available leave balances to receive up to 100% of their regular pay. POST RETIREMENT MEDICAL CONTRIBUTION: A monthly contribution is made by the County towards retiree health insurance offered through the County as governed by the applicable SEIU Memorandum of Understanding.
