Job Description: Medical Assistant at Pediatrics of Southwest Houston Description: Pediatrics of Southwest Houston is seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year in pediatric care. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, assisting with patient care, conducting exams, performing in-office procedures, and providing patient education. Key responsibilities include: Recording vital signs for all visiting patients. Ensuring accurate medical documentation for office visits. Assisting in scheduling procedures with the hospital. Requirements: Experience managing the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Strong teamwork skills in a medical setting. Ability to multi-task effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Basic lab testing knowledge. Proficiency in computer use.
