Medical Assistant

Job Description We are seeking a MEDICAL ASSISTANT to become a part of our pediatric team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.Working hours are from Monday to Thursday 2pm to 6 pm and Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart Review annual wellness questionaire with appropriate patients Organize and schedule appointments for wellness check ups Enter laboratory services Administer injections, perform urinalysis and other lab tests. Keep vaccine logs and refrigerators logs and learn about vaccine management in general Assist during medical examinations Triage patient calls, assess the problem, consult with the physician Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Punctual and self-disciplined Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Degree in medical assistance Salary to be determined based on experience, job interview Company Description we are a pediatric practice servicing children and families in our community for 25 yearsCompany Description we are a pediatric practice servicing children and families in our community for 25 years #J-18808-Ljbffr Uloop Inc.
