Details General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit with occasional non-critical pediatric patients Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM 13-week assignment length Floating required Census-based on-call flexing may occur prior to scheduled shift start if census is low Uses MedHost EMR Scrubs of any color permitted Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Active driver's license and US SSN required for consideration Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers Additional Information Perform general Med/Surg nursing duties including care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated if specified at time of consideration RTO requests must be less than 1 week Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies Candidates who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position American Traveler Job ID P-733847.
