Solutions Architect

Great long-term opportunity with an industry leader that is seeing their business accelerate! RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and own the technical architecture for procurement platforms, with an immediate focus on P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems. Design integration patterns between procurement tools (like Birch Street) and core ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday). Provide technical governance during solution delivery to ensure adherence to the approved architecture. Lead the evaluation of build vs. buy decisions and the selection of new technology and vendors. Design procurement data models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks (spend analytics, supplier scorecards). Drive the adoption of data governance and master data management (MDM) practices. Review and approve detailed design documents, data models, and API specifications. Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps aligned with the overall business strategy. Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to capture requirements and define the solution scope. This is a 6-month contract with a possibility to extend or convert to direct-hire. Work a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, 3 days in office. REQUIRED SKILLS: 10+ years of overall experience in an enterprise environment 5+ years of experience as a SME in a procurement business function Procurement Domain Knowledge (S2P, P2P, S2C) ERP Integration experience (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday) API Design & Integration (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, EDI) Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Platforms Security & Compliance (SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001) Solution Design Documentation (C4, UML, ArchiMate) Agile / SAFe Delivery Methodologies PREFERRED SKILLS: Blockchain for Supply Chain Traceability Master Data Management (MDM) Tools Low-Code / No-Code Platforms (ServiceNow, Power Platform) Category Management & Strategic Sourcing RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) in Procurement BI & Analytics Platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) Must be authorized to work in the US.
