Human Resource Generalist (Fall River, WI) Location: Fall River, Wisconsin Job ID: 2026-4672 Openings: 1 Overview Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resource Generalist is primarily responsible for various Human Resources functions at our Fall River, Wisconsin location. The position will begin with training at Mayville, Wisconsin for several months before transferring to Fall River. This is an on‑site role; not remote or hybrid. The role involves maintaining HRIS systems, employee relations, recruitment, communication, building relationships, navigating investigations and difficult conversations, and providing high‑quality customer service to employees and managers. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day HR functions. Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and Supervisors. Respond to employee questions and concerns, providing timely support. Handle payroll processing for this location, including reporting and use of ADP and Kronos. Conduct investigations and issue appropriate employee discipline. Perform full‑cycle recruitment: posting jobs, interviewing candidates, screening resumes and applications, conducting background and employment checks, and extending offers. Create and update job descriptions for all plant personnel. Conduct new‑hire orientation. Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and practices. Administer employee benefit enrollment, answer questions about benefits, and manage annual open enrollment. Facilitate all aspects of employee discipline and terminations, including preparing paperwork for unemployment claims. Lead special projects for compliance, auditing, and documentation requirements for AS9100 certification. Suggest improvements in HR and employee relations processes. Develop an understanding of company culture and advocate it daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 4 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred). Experience with payroll, recruiting, employee discipline, and investigations (required). Excellent oral and written communication skills; a strong team member able to interact with all organization levels. Ability to make independent decisions and set priorities for the organization’s best interest. Education and Experience Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (preferred).
