ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2019 after spending 11 years working for another State Farm agent, and that experience really shaped the kind of office culture I wanted to build. Were a close-knit team of three that genuinely enjoys working together, grabbing lunches as a team, and creating a supportive environment where everyone feels connected and encouraged to grow.

Im a graduate of Hamline University, married with three kids, and when Im not in the office you can usually find me on the golf course or spending time with my family. Giving back to the community is important to me, and I stay involved through our local high school athletics board and helping with annual fundraisers.

Jay Ems - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
