Responsibilities Hampton Academy provides individualized, trauma-focused support and education for children and adolescents ages 6 and older. Our educational program is designed for students who suffer from anxiety, school avoidance, poor social skills, mood disorders and other socio-emotional concerns that interrupt their ability to fully function in a traditional academic setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Maintain floors through various methods such as buffing, waxing, and stripping to ensure they are clean and presentable. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly. Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide porter services by transporting items as required within the facility. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures is an asset. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
