About the Job

The Human Resources Coordinator is a central point of support for Team Members across the entire employment lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding through benefits, compliance, and everyday employee relations. This role ensures Team Members receive accurate, timely, and confidential support so they can focus on delivering exceptional events. Working closely with managers, Payroll, IT, and the regional HR team, this role keeps people operations running smoothly and consistently across locations. The role is based in Austin and supports all of our Texas locations, so travel is a must.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate onboarding and training for all Team Members, setting them up for success from day one
• Support talent acquisition by scheduling interviews and moving candidates through the hiring process
• Maintain I-9 compliance and keep accurate, up-to-date records for all Team Members
• Administer benefit enrollment and status changes, and answer Team Member benefit questions
• Track completion of compliance training, including monthly safety and harassment prevention
• Partner on employee investigations and employee relations matters, documenting each step
• Prepare termination packets and draft or review separation agreements as needed
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and Payroll to process pay changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations
• Support leave of absence processes (PDL, CFRA, ADA), including documentation and tracking
• Guide Team Members through Paylocity self-service and troubleshoot basic system issues

Requirements:

What You Bring

Required

• Detail-oriented, highly organized approach with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish—read, write, and speak—to support a diverse team
• Working knowledge of employment laws and proven discretion handling confidential information
• Able to travel to various locations across Texas, sometimes with little notice
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom

Nice to Have

• HR experience in event rentals, hospitality, or event production
• Familiarity with Paylocity or a similar HRIS and self-service platform
• Experience coordinating training, interviews, and employee engagement across multiple locations
