Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, reviewing their medical history, performing relevant assessments, and documenting findings to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Engage patients and their families in understanding evaluation results and collaboratively set rehabilitation goals to enhance adherence and motivation.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessment results and ongoing evaluation of patients' progress, ensuring adaptability to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, providing consultations as needed, and recognizing when modification of the plan of care is necessary based on changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by meeting productivity expectations, maintaining an organized schedule, and participating in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of our services.
• Engage in the development of departmental goals and objectives to improve service delivery, adhering to accreditation standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth, and serve as a clinical instructor to students from physical therapy programs.
• Promote an excellent patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to their needs, ensuring high accessibility to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other physical limitations, ranging from young athletes to older adults. Our team is dedicated to addressing various rehabilitation challenges, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to each patient's circumstances. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required to meet the state licensing requirements.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia or be eligible for licensure in the state.
• Must hold current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required for this role, candidates with additional experience in outpatient rehabilitation or specialized areas such as sports medicine or geriatrics will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
