Service Cashier / Accounts Receivable Collections Professional

Sam Pack's Five Star Ford is looking for a Service Cashier / Accounts Receivable Collections professional to join our team! We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with customers, handling financial transactions, and keeping accounts accurate and organized.

What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist service customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Process customer payments by cash, check, credit card, and other approved methods.
• Review repair orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Answer customer questions regarding charges, invoices, and account balances.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate payment records.
• Balance the cashier drawer and reconcile daily transactions.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances.
• Contact customers and business accounts regarding unpaid invoices.
• Post and apply payments accurately.
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate A/R records and collection documentation.
• Work closely with Service, Parts, and Accounting departments to resolve account issues.
• Assist with month-end A/R reconciliation and reporting.
• Escalate disputed or significantly delinquent accounts to management.

Requirements:

• Previous automotive dealership, cashier, accounting, A/R, or collections experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable handling money and discussing account balances with customers.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid Driver's License and Insurable.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
