As part of the Digital Financial Informatics team, this role partners with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Operations to establish key performance indicators (KPIs), measure IT/digital initiatives' impact, and ensure fiscally sound decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial analytics in a healthcare setting, expertise in Epic applications i.e. Cogito, Revenue Data Model, and financial platforms, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes. You will develop executive-level decision support tools that inform and influence stakeholders across the organization. We are seeking a candidate who will create and deliver data visualization dashboards in this role. This role combines business intelligence dashboard reporting/creation with revenue cycle/financial impact oriented workstreams. RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and execute end-to-end analytics strategies in partnership with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Digital Financial InformaticsDefine KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact of digital initiativesEstablish baseline metrics for tracking progress and performance across projectsAlign analytics initiatives with Emory's hub-and-spoke analytics structurePartner with financial teams to drive financial initiatives throughout the digital lifecycleMaintain a scalable data architecture that tracks digital return on investment (ROI)Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across financial and operational teamsImplement data governance practices to uphold quality, transparency, and compliance Integrate relevant, timely, and accurate data into project intake and prioritizationDevelop and manage data collection methodologies to capture key digital metricsIntegrate data from Epic, Strata, and other Emory financial systems to enhance reporting Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across multiple platformsConduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights for financial decision-making Develop and maintain enterprise-wide dashboards for real-time financial monitoringPresent insights through data storytelling and visualization to key stakeholdersTrack and quantify the financial impact of digital initiativesDesign and maintain intuitive dashboards, reports, and scorecards to monitor financial outcomes via tools such as Epic Cogito, Power BIProvide regular updates to stakeholders on digital contributions and cost savingsPartner with Digital, FP&A, and Operations teams to align analytics strategiesFoster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvementCollaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to enhance business and financial performanceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 9+ years of experience without a degree7+ years of experience in analytics, data architecture, or a related field within healthcareStrong expertise in Epic data models, Clarity, Caboodle, and Slicer-DicerExperience with Strata integration and healthcare financial analyticsProficiency in SQL or other programming languages for data analysisExpertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similarProven experience in leading and managing teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Epic Certification(s) i.e. Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, Revenue Data ModelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights Excellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively across teamsDetail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality workStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independentlyAdditional DetailsEmory is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by state or federal law.Emory Healthcare is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities upon request.
