Division Lead Engineer
Job Description
You will provide technical oversight for Division engineering policies and procedures and direct the technical quality of the division's engineering products and processes used in the development and delivery of the current and future combat systems.
You will serve as the Division Lead Engineer for all Digital Engineering Programs and projects associated with in-service engineering disciplines, including design, life cycle support, integration and test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
You will serve as the lead technical authority within the division, responsible for the quality execution and timely delivery of all technical products.
You will provide technical direction and coordination in support of Combat Systems tasking during all phases of the Acquisition cycle.
You will provide leadership and technical expertise for total systems development, life cycle sustainment, Integration and Test and Evaluation in support of a major warfare systems.
You will provide oversight and direction on all technical reviews; Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Program Reviews.
You will develop and review system requirements, participate in system integration and validation, and influence in-service updates to maintain the efficacy and safety of the warfighter's tools and capabilities.
You will be responsible for the introduction of new initiatives and systems related to Combat System projects and establishing and maintaining engineering practices that result in safe, effective, and affordable products and services.
