Job Details Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Hudson, FL 34667 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100 Shift Duration: 8-hour days Hours per Week: 40 Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with alternate weekends, holiday rotation, and on-call assignments as needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 Openings: 2 Setting: Level II Trauma Center / Surgical Services Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience preferred/required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Experience circulating trauma, general, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures Ability to thrive in a fast-paced perioperative and surgical environment with changing case volumes Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Flexibility to float as needed based on skill set and patient volume Responsibilities Circulate a variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties in the operating room Support procedures including total joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, robotic general surgery, bariatrics, robotic urology, craniotomy, ENT, and plastics Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient OR flow Follow AORN standards, facility policies, and established perioperative best practices Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and charting system Participate in on-call coverage, alternate weekend scheduling, and holiday rotation as assigned Provide high-quality patient care while contributing to a supportive, traveler-friendly healthcare team Apply now to join this travel Registered Nurse opportunity in Hudson, Florida, and take the next step in your OR nursing career.
