Details Level II Trauma Center surgical department with 12 OR suites including 2 CVORs 1:1 patient ratio with AORN staffing recommendations and support staff such as orderlies, anesthesia techs, and unit secretaries Circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures Perform Total Joint procedures, orthopedic trauma, robotic general (including bariatrics), robotic urology, craniotomy, ENT, and plastics procedures Documentation via Meditech 24-hour Trauma Service coverage with varying shift options including 8s, 10s, and 12s Scheduled shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff On-call assignments may be required Floating required as applicable for skillset pending volume Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required Ability to circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) Two professional references required for Florida-based assignments No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Facility recognized with 2023 Healthgrades awards for America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Vascular Surgery, as well as Excellence Awards for Gastrointestinal Surgery and Surgical Care Unit follows AORN Standards with open orientation to policies and procedures Facility-provided uniform required for in-house use, with RN scrubs in Navy Blue Described as a traveler-friendly environment No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility American Traveler Job ID P-747238.
