Join a compassionate healthcare team in the Midwest region as an Occupational Therapist specializing in inpatient care on a PRN/scheduled as-needed basis. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, vascular, and neurological conditions, tailoring treatments to individual needs. You will provide education and preventative care to patients, their families, and healthcare associates, serving as a vital liaison among patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and social services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care using clinical expertise, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and patient/family education. Care spans all age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
• Operate therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, mechanical traction, and wound care devices.
• Guide patients in the use of assistive devices, braces, orthotics, prosthetics, and exercise equipment.
• Assist patients with mobility, strengthening exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, and activities of daily living.
• Adapt therapy techniques for patients with cognitive or physical limitations.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
• Communicate effectively across departments to enhance patient care and customer relations.
• Supervise aides, students, and volunteers as needed.
• Support departmental functions and contribute to staff education.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy program recognized by relevant national associations. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree is required. Continuing education and active participation in professional organizations are encouraged.

Licensure and Certifications:
