Respiratory Therapist Facility: Ambassador Omaha Location: Omaha, NE Setting: LTC / Nursing Home / Pediatric Respiratory Care Contract Details Schedule: Days Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts Hours: 36/48 hrs rotating schedule Patient Ratio: 1:8 – 1:10 Pediatric Unit Pay $52 – $54 per hour Estimated Weekly Pay 36 hrs/week: $1,872 – $1,944/week 48 hrs/week: $2,496 – $2,592/week Required Credentials Active Respiratory Therapist License required NBRC Certification (CRT or RRT) required BLS Certification required Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred PALS preferred but not required Experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or pediatric respiratory settings preferred Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments Monitor pediatric respiratory patients Administer oxygen therapy and breathing treatments Manage respiratory equipment and documentation Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams Respond to respiratory emergencies as needed Maintain compliance with respiratory care standards
