In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment, ensuring its clinical effectiveness and reliability.

Job Summary:

As a Biomedical Technician, you will work under limited supervision to perform repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment. Your expertise will enhance the functionality and safety of the equipment, directly impacting patient care and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of biomedical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure equipment meets clinical standards.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Technology or a related field required.
• An equivalent degree in Electronics with an additional two years of experience as a hospital biomedical technician is acceptable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
