Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a role that directly supports student growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the vibrant North Denver area. Two opportunities are open: a full-time and a 0.8 FTE position, both serving students from preschool through high school within a thoughtfully structured assignment model. The allocation of caseloads reflects an understanding of the unique demands at sites with preschools and specialized programs, ensuring an equitable workload and a balanced, sustainable experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license
• Colorado Department of Education license
• DORA certification
• Experience in school-based OT preferred; all backgrounds considered
• Comfortable working with diverse age groups and needs, from preschool to high school
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to student-centered therapy and collaborative practice

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of approximately 40–60 students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational access
• Assess student abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
• Document progress according to school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Take part in the Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation (July 27–31)
• Report to assigned campuses beginning August 3 for the school year
• Serve either full-time (about 37.5 hours/week) or 0.8 FTE across two schools
