Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required
License: Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
Must-Have: At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population
Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works with patients that range from newborn to geriatric. This position involves performing all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and delivering all modalities of respiratory care, from basic to advanced. The RRT provides the highest level of appropriate patient care in various areas of the hospital, including emergency patients, in-patients, and out-patients. Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates is preferred. NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is preferred. Experience with EPIC is also preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Candidates must be healthy enough to safely function in a low-oxygen environment.
