Summary You will provide expert post‑anesthesia care for patients recovering from a diverse range of procedures. From quick outpatient surgeries to complex, high‑risk cases, our PACU nurses are vital in ensuring patients� smooth recovery and safe transition to their next phase of care�whether it�s inpatient, outpatient discharge, or critical care. Work with a wide range of acuity and procedures, including: gynecology urology vascular cardiac pulmonary trauma orthopedics plastics neurosurgery gastroenterology interventional radiology No two days are the same! Under the direction of the department director/charge nurse, provides care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Experience One year critical care or PACU experience. Special Skills Hemodynamics Phlebotomy Airway management Other Basic computer skills. License/Cert Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA.
