Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:

OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Will accept a first-time traveler with strong Cath lab experience.

• Must be able to scrub/monitor as well as circulate.

• Circulating, scrubbing and/or hemodynamic monitoring. This would be for cardiac & peripheral vascular. We do complex interventional procedures.

• Other skills required - Vasoactive drug administration, sedation administration, critical patient assessment skills, sterile technique, air management, Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser and lithotripsy atherectomy

Required Credentials:

• Valid Driver’s License – required to float between facilities

• Dysrhythmia Exam

Unit/Facility Details: Free parking

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday

• Weekend rotation: minimum – approximately every 3rd weekend

• Call required: Rotating. 2 days a week overnight – 1500 to 0700. Every 3rd weekend – Friday 1500 to Monday 0700. Sleep room availability - TBD. Call back period is 30 minutes.

• Holiday Expectations: Done in rotation

Floating Requirements: This traveler will float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont (Shreveport, LA) and Willis Knighton Bossier (Bossier City, LA)

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
