Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a 13-week evening shift contract in a hospital setting in Saint Cloud, MN.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department serving adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department patient populations
• Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, and community hospital setting
• CT procedures include abdomen/pelvis (with and without contrast), chest, head and neck, vascular CTA, spine and musculoskeletal imaging, and special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and virtual colonography
• Uses Toshiba/Canon CT equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 4x9 hour evening shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required; ARRT (R) also required
• Proficiency with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Proficiency with starting peripheral IVs required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted for the assignment; no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks; all RTO requests must be disclosed upfront
• Travelers are required to work holidays as needed by the facility
• All travelers must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing their contract
• Minnesota state law requires all travelers to complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota within 48 hours of signing; fingerprinting must be completed on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, with no exceptions — travelers are responsible for all associated travel expenses
• Vaccine exemption documentation must be submitted with the profile for any traveler requesting a medical or religious exemption
