Network/Telecom Specialist- Expert

Job Summary (List Format) Network Engineer (Cisco/Meraki Wireless, Cisco LAN, Cisco ISE, UPS Battery Infrastructure)
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN and wireless networks with a focus on Cisco/Meraki wireless, Cisco LAN infrastructure, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Lead network equipment/software refresh projects including planning, installation, and configuration of Cisco/Meraki devices.
- Specialize in Cisco/Meraki wireless solutions: deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and support.
- Expert in Cisco LAN infrastructure: including Software Defined Access (SDA), support, and problem resolution.
- Extensive experience with Cisco ISE: administration, upgrades, license management, SSL certificate handling, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain rack-based UPS battery infrastructure: installation, replacement, monitoring, SNMP configuration, and network integration.
- Obtain and manage price quotes for new equipment; coordinate procurement and installation with business units and vendors.
- Document technical work, create reports and summaries, and maintain up-to-date systems documentation.
- Collaborate with various IT teams and participate in cross-functional implementation projects.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, change, and configuration management.
- Attend regular meetings and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external vendors/clients.
- Conduct network infrastructure security vulnerability assessments, research, and remediation.
- Ensure excellent time management, organization, and documentation skills.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members as needed.
- Must be able to work independently, manage multiple complex projects, and be available to work onsite as required.
