CNC set up Machinist - West Cleveland, OH

Earn $25.00-$33.00 per hour based on experience in this contract-to-hire opportunity with a stable, family-owned company. Schedule
1st Shift
6:00 AM - 3:30 PM -Monday-Friday

Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (as needed)

Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Vertical Milling Machines with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
Perform production runs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Complete first article inspections on machined parts.
Load and unload materials using an overhead crane (training provided).
Make simple CNC program edits as needed.
Deburr and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and tolerances.
Select the appropriate tooling for each machining job.
Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers.
Identify and troubleshoot machining issues.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Work independently while maintaining quality and production standards.

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience, including machine setup and operation.
Experience operating vertical milling machines preferred.
Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Steel toe boots and safety glasses required.
Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
