Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy assessments for inpatients; develop and revise treatment plans
• Implement patient-centered PT interventions such as gait training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, ROM and strengthening programs
• Monitor and document patient progress; communicate changes in care plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions; monitor vitals as indicated and maintain infection control practices
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other therapists to support discharge planning and functional outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance completed within the previous 12 months
• Availability to work 40 hours per week in Arcata, CA in an inpatient setting
• Travel assignment eligibility and ability to relocate as needed
