• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: San Leandro, CA 94577
• Start Date: 11/03/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 - $3,190

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification required
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk OB experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support labor and delivery cases using strong clinical judgment and bedside expertise
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards for quality, safety, and patient-centered care
