ARC TOOLING SPECIALIST

ARC-Arcadia LA 3786 Second Street Arcadia, LA 71001, USA Responsibilities Set up tooling, set-up dies, bearings, and gears for pilger mill operation. Install roll shafts in pilger mills with precision alignment. Lockout/tagout and troubleshoot quality issues at pilger mills. Inspect tooling for wear or damage. Organize, clean, and maintain tooling inventory. Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspection before operating equipment. Retrieve dies and mandrels from racks using overhead cranes. Operate hand grinder to modify dies and operate lathe to modify mandrels. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read OD and wall micrometer (must pass with a minimum score of 80%). Ability to read a tape measure (must pass with a minimum score of 80%). Basic mathematics competence (must pass with a minimum score of 80%). Good close, distant, and peripheral vision. Detail oriented. Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred). Basic computer operation skills (preferred). Inventory management experience (preferred). Basic knowledge of pilger mill operation (preferred).
