Activity Director (Full Time)

Position Resident Services Director (Full Time) Salary & Bonus Starting Salary $52,000-$65,000 plus up to $4,000 in performance‑based bonuses annually. Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (variable). Manager on Duty weekend rotation 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Location Vitalia Active Adult Community Mentor, 8180 Mentor Hills Dr., Mentor, Ohio 44060. Responsibilities Be a Culture Creator: set the tone of community events and resident engagement. Be a Host with the Most: develop, run, and maintain quality activities programs that enrich the lives of seniors. Be the Heart of the Community: lead Resident Services and ensure resident satisfaction through compassionate, first‑class service. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. At least one year of experience conducting group activities, evaluating resident needs, supervising staff, and training volunteers. Knowledge of the requirements for providing appropriate care and supervision. Minimum 12th grade English proficiency. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem‑solving skills. Positive and energetic attitude. Professional appearance and conduct. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Criminal background check clearance. Good health; able to perform assigned tasks; health screening within six months prior or seven days after employment; free from pulmonary tuberculosis. Clean driving record per insurer’s policy.
