HSE/EHS Supervisor

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Supervisor/LeadLocation: Greater Nashville, TN Area ( Smyrna/La Vergne area)Job Type: Full-Time, work is ONSITE, working in an industrial, Manufacturing facility.A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee site safety, environmental compliance, and employee health initiatives. This position will, from a HANDS-ON Level, lead HSE/EHS programs, manage regulatory compliance efforts, and support a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesLead health, safety, and environmental programs across the facility.Supervise and develop HSE team members.Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations.Manage chemical inventories, SDS records, and environmental reporting.Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Deliver safety training and awareness programs.Perform facility inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.Oversee industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and PPE programs.Support contractor and visitor safety processes.Coordinate audits, certifications, and compliance reporting.Maintain HSE documentation and performance metrics.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.7+ years of HSE experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.Experience with incident investigations, audits, and compliance programs.CSP, CIH, or related certification preferred.Preferred ExperienceManufacturing plant safety leadership.Environmental compliance and chemical management.ISO-based management systems and audit support.Continuous improvement and safety culture initiatives.Is this YOU?Is this a role, location you are open to considering?Is the time right for a new role, new job, a change?Let's connect...please apply to this job listing and email me at View email address on click.appcast.io and let's set up a time to connect and discuss the fit, your search goals, etc.....I will pull back the curtain on the details and we can see if we are onto a solid match!
