Overnight Processing Shift Lab Associate

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as part of our overnight processing shift. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail. You will be an integral part of our laboratory operations, ensuring that samples are processed efficiently and accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules, and technical procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong initiative and follow-through.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
• Must demonstrate a high level of customer service.
• Good computer skills: Client Office and SAP preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements that go with working as a Lab Associate, including transporting hazardous waste within the facility and occasionally lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working overnight shifts.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, such as LabCorp, Quest, or large hospitals.
• Background in Vet Tech, Vet Assisting, fulfillment positions, or food service.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Check in couriers and unbag samples.
• Bar code and move samples around the lab ("running").
• Load samples into analyzers and centrifuges.
• Swirl samples with a liquid chemical.
• Pull samples from refrigerated storage.
