Position Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will conduct a variety of laboratory tests, analyze samples, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of test results. Working closely with healthcare providers, you'll play a key role in delivering timely results that support quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and tissue sample analysis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it functions correctly and safely.
• Monitor and adhere to quality control standards and laboratory safety protocols.
• Accurately record and analyze test results, and communicate findings to medical staff.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment or testing issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest laboratory procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment.
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork.
