Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Manufacturing)

Title: Senior Supply Chain Specialist Location: Lithonia, GA (onsite) Compensation Range: $72,000 - $119,000 This role is affiliated to the Lithonia, GA location. Candidates should reside within a commutable distance and may be required to travel to other locations periodically for meetings. Responsibilities Analyze at risk inventory data and track actions associated with ARI categories (slow moving, non-moving, expired, obsolete, etc.) Coordinate the process to find alternatives for utilization of expired, out-of-spec, slow/non-moving and obsolete inventories Lead the root cause analysis and action plan implementation to prevent future inventory losses Monitor expired inventory based on best by date to activate alternatives such as rework or vendor rejection/return Lead and coordinate meetings with cross‑functional teams across the organization focusing on “At risk inventories” recuperation or salvage to minimize inventory losses Generate run‑out analysis for finished goods and raw materials Provide support for weekly and monthly S&OP meetings Coordinate inventory destructions and provide follow‑ups on MTD and YTD company‑dumped inventory Assist the Planning department with reporting activities including inventory tracking, SO At Risk, PO analysis, Supplier OTIF, and others Qualifications Working knowledge of MRP within a formal ERP environment Experience in either Materials Planning & or Production Scheduling Experience with concepts such as MTS, ATO, MTO, Shelf‑Life, MOQ’s Experience using Excel with the ability to create pivots and VLOOKUPs Proven analytical skills, strong problem‑solving, and data‑interpreting abilities Working knowledge of processes and tools related to managing ARI / distressed inventory management, technical knowledge, and cross‑functional collaboration Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Industrial/Operations Engineering, or Business) 1–3 years of experience with ERP‑MRP system knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available) What Will Set You Apart Understanding of SC KPIs (Customer OTIF, Working Capital, LOI) 3–5 years as a Supply Chain / Inventory Analyst APICS CPIM or equivalent certification Strong Excel and Power BI skills Ability to set clear expectations to drive performance for ARI and LOI Focus on identification and actions to divert ARI / LOI and process improvements to avoid future exposures Benefits Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts EAP, Health Advocacy, Financial Planning Parental Leave, Care.com, Adoption & Surrogacy Assistance Education Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement, Safety Reimbursement Lifestyle Spending Account, Group Life & AD&D, Voluntary Life Insurance Short‑Term & Long‑Term Disability, 401(k) Plan with Company Match, ESOP PTO, Holidays & Leaves, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Home & Auto Insurance, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Long Term Care, Life Insurance & Legal Assistance EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Griffith Foods believes that all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunity.
